August 21, 2018—Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) is launching its fall college recruiting effort in September with visits to Virginia Tech, University of Virginia (UVA) and Johns Hopkins University. The company is seeking software developers and systems engineers for full-time and summer internship positions. The full fall recruiting schedule is as follows:

  • Virginia Tech – Monday, September 10
  • UVA – Wednesday, September 12
  • Johns Hopkins – Thursday, September 20
  • Christopher Newport – Thursday, October 18
  • UMass Dartmouth – Wednesday, October 24

On Monday, September 10,  IDT representatives will travel to the CSRC Career Fair at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. They will meet with Computer Science students in the  Commonwealth Ballroom of the Squires Student Center from 2pm – 7pm.

On Wednesday, September 12,  IDT will visit the University of Virginia (UVA) in Charlottesville, Virginia for the Engineering, Science and Technology Career Fair.  The event will be held in John Paul Jones Arena from 10am – 3pm.

On Thursday, September 20, company reps will head to Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland for the Stem and Innovation Career Fair. They will meet with students in the Goldfarb Gym from 12pm – 4pm.

On Thursday, October 18, IDT will visit Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA to  attend the PCSE (Physics, Computer Science, Engineering and Internship) Fair.

On Wednesday, October 24, reps will travel to UMass Dartmouth to recruit qualified candidates at the Business, Engineering, and Technologies career fair. The event will be held in Woodland Commons from 3pm – 5pm.

At each of these events, IDT representatives are interested in speaking with undergraduates who are studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields, regarding summer internships for rising seniors and full-time positions for May 2019 grads.
