October 6, 2014—This week, Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) is exhibiting and speaking at ITEA’s Annual Test and Evaluation Symposium, October 6-9, 2014, at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Virginia. The event, entitled T&E to Achieve Better Buying Power, is expected to attract a large audience of professionals from government and industry who are involved in software development, testing and evaluation.

On Wednesday afternoon at 2pm, IDT Technical Director Elfriede Dustin will speak on the topic Implementing an Automation Culture: Prevention Over Detection. Ms. Dustin will focus on how automated testing processes and products enable engineers to more readily embrace an automation culture and benefit from the prevention over detection approach to development. She will discuss case studies in which software developers and testing life cycle stakeholders, submerged and surrounded by automation, have been highly successful. She will share how IDT has developed an automation culture based on Automated Test and ReTest (ATRT) and other tools, including open source options. She will also address:

  • Automated Requirements Traceability
  • Agile design and development
  • The importance of Continuous Integration (CI)
  • Virtualized Environments
  • Lessons Learned

IDT representatives will be at booth #308 throughout the event. Please stop by to learn more about ATRT and IDT’s approach to automated testing and analysis. www.IDTus.com.
