IDT is proud to have participated in the prestigious 2024 Submarine Technology Symposium, held from May 14-16 at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, MD.
The Submarine Technology Symposium is a classified (SECRET/NOFORN) three-day conference that serves as a premier platform for Navy leadership, industry, and academia to engage in productive technical exchanges. This year’s theme, “Today’s Competition / Tomorrow’s Fight,” reflects the current global competition with both China and Russia, emphasizing the need for the US and its partners to be ready for a fight in the near future and to be positioned to win that fight.
IDT’s attendance at the symposium underscores its commitment to staying up-to-date on advancements in submarine and undersea warfare technology. The event offered an excellent opportunity for IDT to communicate its innovative solutions, engage in meaningful discussions, and foster relationships within the industry.
The symposium includes technical sessions covering a wide range of topics, from enabling the undersea force from seabed to space, enhancing undersea access and lethality, to seabed warfare, the next domain. These sessions provide a platform for industry, government, and academia to present their research and technological developments.
IDT is looking forward to applying the knowledge attained from these meaningful discussions. As a company at the forefront of technological innovation, IDT recognizes the importance of such events in driving progress and shaping the future of undersea warfare.
