On Friday, Nov. 28th, SpaceX launched Transporter-15 from Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA and successfully deployed several optical satellites from Satellogic. Onboard these satellites is novel software developed by Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT), GRVTY and Satellogic that performs accelerated image processing, object classification, and generates tracks for objects-of-interest within low-latency requirements. IDT, GRVTY and Satellogic will conduct experimentation with these satellites in 2026 under contract with the Office of Naval Research.
