IDT Launches 2022 Operation Gratitude Donation Drive

Arlington, VA—January 31, 2022—This week, Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) launches its annual outreach in support of Operation Gratitude. This outstanding organization sends individually addressed care packages to deployed troops, members of the military, and other American heroes. Since 2003, they have distributed over 3,300,000 boxes filled with meaningful items to encourage those bravely serving our country.

IDT has been partnering with Operation Gratitude since 2015. In the past, our employees have written letters to deployed troops, woven paracord survival bracelets, and generously donated wish list items—all for inclusion in Operation Gratitude’s care packages.

This year, for the second time, we’re asking IDT employees to join our Donation Drive to raise funds to cover the cost of mailing Operation Gratitude care packages—which is about $15 per box. Our campaign will run from February 1-8, 2022. The company will contribute an additional gift on behalf of each employee who participates.

We appreciate the mission of Operation Gratitude to encourage our troops in such a tangible way. It’s a goal that dovetails well with IDT’s mission to equip members of the U.S. Military with innovative, best-in-class technology solutions. We value the work of Operation Gratitude and look forward to supporting their efforts through this year’s donation drive.
