This week, IDT representatives will attend the 2019 Combat Systems Symposium sponsored by the American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE). This year’s theme is Deliver, Sustain and Modernize Lethal Combat Systems in the Age of Digital and Model Based Engineering. The event is being held November 20-21, 2019, at the Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel in Arlington, VA.
The 2019 ASNE Combat Systems Symposium will look into how digital and model based engineering are providing avenues for more efficient and effective Combat System engineering and delivery of agile systems to meet threats today and in the future. To remain ahead of the demands for new and upgraded weapon systems, the Navy is committed to providing a more agile development environment and digital and model based systems engineering to more efficiently equip the warfighter for the wars of the future.
