Arlington, VA—March 19, 2020–This week, Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) launched a Collection Drive and Letter-Writing campaign in support of Operation Gratitude. In light of current conditions, we have offered employees several ways to support this year’s outreach effort online. Donations will be used by Operation Gratitude to supply care packages for members of the military and first responders. The campaign will run from March 16-25, 2020.
Every year, Operation Gratitude sends over 300,000 care packages to Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Coast Guardsmen, Veterans, First Responders, Military Families and Wounded Heroes. The boxes are individually addressed and include personalized letters and a variety of purchased and handmade items.
This is the fifth time IDT has partnered with Operation Gratitude. In the past, employees have woven paracord survival bracelets, written letters to deployed troops, and donated needed items. IDT values this unique partnership and looks forward to supporting the organization’s efforts to encourage our U.S. Military and other heroes in this tangible way.
